Products - General questions
A: Yes, absolutely. All our salt lamps and products are crafted from 100% pure, natural Himalayan pink salt, directly sourced from the foothills of the salt range in Pakistan. We ensure zero artificial additives, preserving the raw crystalline structure and natural mineral composition of the salt.
A: Himalayan salt lamps are natural ionizers. When the bulb inside heats up the salt crystal, it attracts moisture from the air. Evaporation of this moisture releases negative ions into the surroundings, which helps neutralize harmful positive ions generated by electronic devices, thereby purifying the ambient air.
A: Aside from adding a cozy, aesthetic glow to your spaces, our salt lamps help cleanse the air, reduce airborne dust and allergens, boost mood, and improve sleep patterns. The soft, warm amber glow behaves as a natural light therapy that promotes relaxation and wellness.
A: Himalayan salt is naturally hygroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air. In humid environments, the lamp may gather water on its surface and appear to “sweat.” To prevent this, keep your lamp turned on regularly so the heat evaporates the moisture, or place a coaster under the wooden base to protect your furniture.
Care, Maintenance & Usage
A: Yes, it is highly recommended to leave your salt lamp turned on as much as possible, especially if you live in a humid area. Leaving it on keeps the salt warm, prevents moisture buildup (sweating), and continuously maximizes the air-purifying benefits.
A: Never submerge your salt lamp in water or wash it under a running tap. To clean it, simply switch it off, let it cool down, and wipe the surface gently with a slightly damp microfiber cloth to remove dust. Immediately pat it dry or turn the lamp back on to let the heat dry any remaining moisture.
A: You must use heat-generating incandescent bulbs (typically 15W to 25W depending on the lamp size). Do not use LED bulbs, as they do not generate enough heat to activate the hygroscopic properties of the salt or prevent it from sweating.
